Touchscreen not working
Quote from I2000C on 20/10/2024, 14:16Hi,
I have an HP Elitebook 2730p with Windows 7, which I’m using as a secondary screen for another laptop (Acer Aspire 3 A315-54) with Windows 10.
If I use the integrated trackpad mouse or the point-stick mouse to control the mouse of the main computer, both work correctly without any problems.
However, when I try to use the touchscreen, Spacedesk simply won’t detect it.
I have tried all Spacedesk settings without no luck and I don’t know what can I do.Please, could you help me?
Spacedesk driver version: 2.1.26
Spacedesk viewer version: 0.9.45 BETA

the Touchscreen functionality of the Windows 7 viewer only works on Windows machines with touchscreen capability. The next option to use is to enable Mouse local which emulates single touch. Please note that the touch feature only works on one connected spacedesk viewer and the rest of the connected spacedesk viewers will use absolute mouse-touch.

Could there be any way to simulate a mouse with the touchscreen?
That way I think it should work.

the Windows 7 viewer does not support pen.
Below is a video of a working Mouse Local functionality emulating a single touch:

Visual feedback for touch points is set to darker and larger in Windows settings. If you want it as a mouse cursor, you will need to connect another viewer. The viewer where the first touch input is done simulates touch events and the rest of the connected viewers can simulate absolute mouse events. This is a workaround as spacedesk does not have an option to dynamically switch between touch and mouse.

Windows 7 is not supported any more by MIcrosoft. This is why our Windows 7 viewer will probably not be supported very much longer and there will probably be no more updates for it.

Quote from I2000C on 23/11/2024, 19:53Hi again,
I finally updated the Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10 LTSC (I dind’t choose standard Windows 10 since the laptop has low resources).
Although there is no Microsoft Store in this version, I managed to install the Microsoft Store version of Spacedesk viewer. Once it had been installed, I enabled the Remote pen input activation option and then the digital pen started working without any problems in Spacedesk.
