Connecting tablet to windows PC through USB Hub?
Quote from Cfilorvyls on 23/03/2025, 12:18I’m having trouble getting my PC to detect my tablet when it’s connected through a Hub, anyone know if it is possible at all to do that? I need a way to connect my tablet to the PC as a semi-permanent display, and direct USB connection works fine for my purpose, except for the fact that my PC doesn’t supply enough power to maintain the tablet’s battery level. So I tried using a USB C hub that has a PD port and some 10gbps USB C ports. But when I tried plugging in the USB C cable from my PC to the Hub spacedesk doesn’t detect my tablet. The Hub itself works fine when transfering data from external drive and the likes, from both the tablet and the PC, so I don’t think it’s the Hub’s problem.
Also this is the Hub I’m using. https://www.ugreen.com/products/ugreen-uno-6-in-1-usb-c-hub-4k60hz-100w-10gbps

Have you tried connecting the tablet directly to the USB-C port in your PC?

Quote from Cfilorvyls on 24/03/2025, 07:37Yeah direct connection works perfectly fine, ezcept that my usb port doesn’t supply enough power to the tablet. LAN and Wifi connection also works fine. It’s only when trying to connect through a Hub that it doesn’t work

Hi @cfilorvyls,
Got this, thank you. For further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your server machine by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:
1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app via USB on your USB hub.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.Thank you.
