How to make phone a seperate monitor instead of screen mirroring?
Quote from alphadrive1700 on 16/06/2025, 12:02I’ve very recently downloaded Spacedesk on my PC and phone (Samsung A06), and it works beautifully. The only problem is that when I connect to my PC, it screen mirrors instead of acting as a seperate monitor. How do I change this?

You can change into desktop extension via the Display Settings. Right-click on the desktop, click on Display Settings, and in the window that opens, select the drop down menu and change it into “Extend these displays.”
For reference, please check the Documentation under the section CONFIGURATION AND SETTINGS > Windows Driver (Primary Machine) > Desktop Extension or Desktop Duplication (mirror) Settings in Display Control Panel. Thank you.
