Linux Host
Will there ever be support for linux as a host machine? I’d love to have spacedesk on linux as i pretty much cant live without it on windows
i second this request, having spacedesk on my SteamOS is really great given now SteamOS success with gaming communities.

Apple Mac Driver is set to be released in the next 6 months, and Linux Driver is currently not in our plans.
that’s sad but im still optimistic sooner devs will consider linux machines, specially SteamOS is getting more and more optimize on 3rd party devices

yoh bro, SteamOS is burning the Microslop now, Windows 11 full of AI forces people to make Linux as daily driver. I really love the idea Spacedesk supporting Linux anytime soon, Bazzite, SteamOS, Mint, Ubuntu are already getting massive of users
Exactly! The rise of Linux users is real. I’ve actually started using Mint for some casual gaming, and it runs super smoothly. Imagine being able to enjoy games like that without dealing with Windows updates or AI overloads!

You sound like you’re his dad and he made the worst misteke of his life so stay on your own.
By the way, i hope the dev can make a driver soon, so we can appreciate spacedesk for everybody!
