SpaceDesk Not Extending Display

Hi.  Just installed Windows on a Windows 11 Home 64 bit machine, the Viewer on an Amazon Fire and Samsung Android phone.  All three have updated drivers.  I also have an old Acer Spin Windows tablet that I installed the view on.

None of these devices will extend the desktop.  I am aware that the Android phone would only Duplicate, but I thought the Fire Tablet and old Windows tablet would allow extending.  I’ve reviewed all 24 pages of support questions and couldn’t find anything.

Thanks!  Oh, free personal version.

Hi @cathy,

Please refer to the Documentation in the section Configuration and Settings > Windows Driver (Primary Machine) > Desktop Extension or Desktop Duplication (mirror) Settings in Display Control Panel for instructions on how to extend your main display to the spacedesk Viewer screen. Thank you.

If this is spacedesk: Android (including Fire OS) only supports mirror, not extend. Extend works only with a Windows viewer. On the Acer tablet, check Windows Display Settings → Multiple displays → Extend, and ensure all devices are on the same network.
