spacedesk viewer touchscreen issues

i have microsoft surface connected to pc as second monitor and when i touch the screen it only toggles like green spacedesk menu on top and doesnt work with the screen itself

Hi @spectra,

You would need to first initiate a remote session with the viewer by either clicking the viewer screen with the mouse or tapping it with 3 simultaneous taps. After that, you can use the touchscreen to access the viewer screen.

I’m having the same issue, but neither moving the mouse from the main PC to the tablet and clicking does nothing, and tapping the tablet 3 times only toggles the green bar at the top of the tablet. What am I missing here?

Hi @thomas-4,

When you click the viewer screen, does this popup appear? Please refer to the image attached to this post. If it does, after clicking on Take Control, can you now use the viewer’s touchscreen to send inputs to the spacedesk Viewer screen?

Ah! I misunderstood “three simultaneous taps.” I was tapping three times in succession with one finger. Three simultaneous fingers does bring up the popup, and touch input works after that. Clicking with the mouse does not bring the up the take control option, however.
