Primary machine working well, prompts the phone to open the app

 

Secondary machine takes the prompt, starting the display mode.

 

Primary machine – control panel doesn’t show any USB connection

 

Secondary machine just immediately jumps into display mode as it should when i restart the app and again screen is black – i reinstalled the app and started t it with no USB or WIFI connection from primary machine but again without asking for permission or any message jumps into display mode

 

 

And I’m just repeating, hopelessly looking for anything to pass this issue…

 

Any idea what’s the problem?

(before this i was using the whole system just fine and nothing was interfering with it)

 

 

Primary machine:

Lenovo g50-80 – cpu: I5 5200U – gpu: amd r5 m330

Secondary machine:

Poco x6 (not pro)

 

I would like to confirm that both machines are up to date, the USB cable and ports are in good condition, and there is a seamless connection between Windows and the phone.

(I SHOULD SAY that the android app sends a tiny message hidden under the HUGE non-commercial notice when it goes into the display mode)

Please try these steps first in your viewer device:
1. Go to Settings > Quality/Performance
2. Click on Encoding Type, then select Software Encoding MJPEG (forced)

If this does not resolve the black screen issue, please send us the logs of your Primary PC by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.

Your primary machine isn’t detecting the USB connection, while the Poco X6 jumps into display mode without permission, likely due to cached settings or miscommunication between devices. Even after reinstalling the app and disconnecting USB/Wi-Fi, the issue persists. Try clearing the app’s cache, checking USB debugging, and reinstalling drivers on your Lenovo. The hidden message under the non-commercial notice may hint at a silent error.

I’ve tried this a bunch of times, but nothing’s different. I even did a clean start for both of them…

Primary machine blocks all other usb functions as it should and secondary machine detects the connection very well, the only problem is that black screen on viewer mode and primary machine not showing any USB connection :/
