Black screen
Zitat von Omar am 21/07/2025, 00:33 UhrSamsung tab A7 running one ui 4.1 shows a black screen right after opening the app despite not being connected to PC and is not detected by the primary server. I tested it on another phone and it works perfectly fine. I believe the tablet connects to literally nothing as I can’t even open the app in airplane mode while unplugged without getting a black screen and tapping the disconnect button closes the app entirely.

Zitat von Glen am 08/09/2025, 17:11 UhrJust a tip for anyone still struggling:
The settings button in Spacedesk Viewer is hidden behind the three dots (…) in the green bar, top-right corner, before connecting to the Primary Machine (server).
These dots are not very visible, so it’s easy to miss them.
In there you can change Encoding Type → set it to Software Encoding JPEG (force always).
That fixed my black screen immediately after days of troubleshooting.

It might be a compatibility issue with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 on One UI 4.1. Try clearing the app cache/data, reinstalling the app, or running it in Safe Mode to see if another app is conflicting. Have you checked if the app has the needed permissions enabled?
