Blue screen on viewer
Zitat von spacedesk Renz am 24/03/2025, 11:11 UhrQuote from zykkov on 24/03/2025, 10:22Yes. I ran into the new windows blue screen problem twice yesterday. Since I now have the problem of the mouse cursor flying off the screen, I am using the Spacedesk Viewer for Windows 7 version.
I open 15 copies of Spacedesk Viewer, to connect to my 15 PCs on the local network. I cascade the windows underneath each other and switch from one screen to another in stages.
At some point, a couple of screens start connecting and disconnecting. It says that there was a connection error. so quickly happens about 5-7 times. and the PC gets a blue screen.
I realize that I probably use Spacedesk Viewer not for its intended purpose or too much that it is not designed for, but here is such a problem was identified by me. after the first time when I encountered such a problem I decided to use the version for Windows 10/11 and 1 time I still had such an error.
I updated the drivers on my video card (GeForce 3080ti). But so far I haven’t used Spacedesk Viewer in 15 running copies anymore
I had no such problems on my old PC
Hope my sad experience will be useful
Hi @zykkov,
To analyze the blue screen you encountered, may we ask for the minidump file that was generated on the day when you encountered the blue screen? The path for the minidump file should be C:/Windows/Minidump. You can either attach it on your next reply or upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox then send the download link on your next reply.
Thank you!

I use the razer synapce program.
It controls my keyboard.
Razer Blackwidow x v4 keyboard.
I have added a macro (Alt+Shift) to the left extra keys so that I can leave the Spacedesk Viewer window with one click.
Also there is assigned an additional key Enter.
Also I use the program PowerToys from Windows. I may be wrong. but it seems to me that it can also help to interact with the mouse. I have not set up any special interaction with the mouse through this program.
I also have the Logi Option+ program installed.
It installed itself when I plugged in my Logitech mouse.
I hope I was helpful

I hope I was helpfulSmart setup. Mapping a macro to the extra keys for quick window switching is a solid efficiency boost no wasted time. With Razer Synapse and the BlackWidow X V4, you’ve got the control you need, whether it’s for workflow or gaming.

Sorry for the late reply. The dump files point to „Battle.net.exe“ so you can try closing this application while running the spacedesk viewer and see if the blue screen still persists. Let us know if you still encounter the issue. Thanks!

Zitat von zykkov am 06/05/2025, 07:47 UhrBattle.net is not the cause of the blue screen.
the cause is the razer synapse application. i don’t know if it is combined with your application or if it is enough to run it alone, but sooner or later it will happen only with this program.
Razer Synapce 4
BlackWidow v4 x (my keyboard)
I haven’t run the razer program for a long time so I haven’t encountered the blue screen problem for a long time.
