Bug: “Connected” popup window won’t close (minimize and close do the same thing)
Zitat von ArnoLuvUrProduct am 06/05/2025, 17:27 UhrHi Spacedesk team,
First of all, thanks for offering this tool for free, I’ve been using it for a year now!
There’s a really frustrating bug I’ve been running into lately. When I connect the iPad as a display, I get the expected popup confirming the connection. All good so far but the popup window won’t actually close. Clicking the „X“ just minimizes it, and the minimize button… also just minimizes it.
This means the window never really goes away and keeps showing up when I alt-tab through my apps. It clutters my workspace and interrupts my flow, especially when juggling multiple windows.
It’s a small thing that becomes very annoying fast. It feels like the “close” behavior is broken or missing.
Please see the attached screenshot to know exactly which popup I’m referring to.
Would love to know if there’s a workaround or if a WIP fix. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

This is not a bug. It informs the user that the connected viewer has a free license instead of a business license. Purchasing a business license for your iPad would remove the popup. You can purchase it by opening the floating menu in your spacedesk viewer, then tapping „Licensing“.
