Connection Issues

Hello,
I am an IT Technician that works for a company that makes extensive use of the spacedesk and Monitors AnyWhere products to have digital dashboards of different ERP data that our employees use to track orders/repairs/etc. We’ve been encountering issues with some the playlists stopping on their own as well as the MAWi players displaying a ‚disconnected‘ or ‚reconnecting‘ message on the screens. In addition, we’ve had an error for low bandwidth before on the host machine, though that’s puzzling because the players are all connected to the same LAN so bandwidth shouldn’t be an issue.
The host is set to not go into a sleep mode or lock itself.
We were hoping that you might provide some troubleshooting that we could pursue. Please advise.

What versions of the spacedesk Viewer and Driver are you currently using?

Also, for further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your Primary PC by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.

We tried collecting logs on multiple occasions over the past two weeks but every time we check the Diagnostic Collection box, all of our dashboards immediately disconnect and then the DebugView crashes itself. If it doesn’t crash immediately, then the issue with connectivity doesn’t occur at all before it crashes later in the day, again without capturing the problem as it happens.

The driver version is 2.1.35 and the viewer version on the MAWi boxes is 2.1.28

I’m replying on behalf of Renz. Have you tried the latest spacedesk Driver v2.2.04?

Last week we updated the driver and we’re still encountering intermittent connection loss. Any other troubleshooting advice? All of the boxes are connected to the same 1gb network.

are you using the latest spacedesk Android viewer v2.1.30?

How many clients are connected? Is the issue reproducible with one client? Could you please try again with the diagnostics?
