Ipad Air 5 connecting successfully with "Connected – Screen turned off"
Zitat von Alexander am 20/06/2025, 10:20 UhrWhenever I try to connect to my Ipad Air, both the Ipad and SpaceDeskDriver acknowledge each other, Driver even lists it as connected.
Though on the Viewer screen, I see only a floating text saying „Connected – Screen turned OFF“
in my native language it says „Verbunden – Bildschirm AUS“ if that helps.I checked and installed updates for either side and restarted Driver, though through the lack of online resources I don’t know how to fix it further
Any help appreciated!

Can you check in your PC, in the Display Settings whether there’s an additional display shown there? Also, does the connected device appear in the Driver Console?

Zitat von Alexander am 20/06/2025, 11:01 UhrHey Renz,
Yes Windows Display Settings shows the additional screen. Now that I look into it, though, it is still showing that monitor even when not connected.
Also, the connected device does appear correctly in the Driver Console. That is what I meant by „Driver even lists it as connected“

When you click on the additional display, does it say „Show only..“ on the dropdown on the bottom right? If so, you can either choose „Extend“ or „Duplicate“ to enable your spacedesk viewer display.

Zitat von Alexander am 28/06/2025, 19:11 UhrHey Renz,
Sorry for my late reply, I had some issues reaching the forum. In Windows screen settings, when clicking on the additional display, I can see „Extend desktop onto this screen“ under the „Multiple Screens“ header. That is the default value before changing anything.
Aside from „Extend desktop“, I have the options „Duplicate desktop to 1 and 2“ (I assume this means screen 1 and 2)
Choosing this option will change the aspect ratio of my main screen to that of the ipad, but the ipad screen stays disabled.

just pushing this by adding you since it’s almost been a week since my reply.
I’m still facing this issue, and have provided you with the options I have above
If anything seems unclear, please ask!
Looking forward to your answer 🙂

I finally got around to capturing the diagnostic data, it should show connecting and disconnecting the device.
Here is the link to the google drive, since it exceeds the 512kb slightly:
