iPad stuck as main monitor

When I have an application running on the iPad, say Roblox, if it crashes/disconnects or pc/monitor sleeps it makes the iPad the main display. Display settings won’t allow me to change main monitor refresh rate and resolution, it doesn’t allow me to switch back to the main monitor unless I turn spacedesk off. iPad will always have the main monitor. System display settings doesn’t do anything even if I make either or displays primary.
