Is there a version of Spacedesk for Windows XP? If so, where can I download it?

I heard „v0.9.18“ was the last version made for Windows XP. The problem is, I can’t find that version or releases older than that on any website.

If someone can send me a download link, would it be expired? If it is, is there any alternatives to display my XP laptop (512 MB RAM) on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ via USB? More preferably without much input delay, I plan to play The Fall of Max Payne using my laptop’s keyboard and mouse, but on my phone’s screen. Reason being, my laptop has a dead backlight, with no external monitor.

You can try using USB tethering with VNC or RDP to display your laptop on your Galaxy S9+, or use a USB OTG cable for mouse/keyboard control. If possible, consider a portable monitor as an external display.

Yes, there was a version of Spacedesk that supported Windows XP. The last known version for Windows XP was v0.9.18. However, it’s difficult to find download links for older versions like this one, and some older links might be expired.

You’re unlikely to find a legitimate or functional Spacedesk v0.9.18 for Windows XP, as the developers state no official XP version was released. Any unofficial downloads would be risky. For displaying your XP laptop on your Samsung Galaxy S9+ via USB, direct screen mirroring with low delay for gaming is highly improbable due to Windows XP’s age, your laptop’s low RAM, and the inherent latency of software-based screen capture. Your best alternatives would involve trying VNC/RDP over USB tethering (which will likely have significant input delay for gaming) or, more practically, getting a cheap external monitor for your laptop to achieve a playable experience.  online cat translator app

As the admin just said, there is no version for Windows Xp, however You can use scrcpy v0.9.18 tool, which requires at least Windows Vista or later. They provide high performance (latency 30–70ms) and support keyboard/mouse via USB. Easy for you to choose

You’re right—v0.9.18 of spacedesk was the last version for Windows XP

Use a VNC server on XP (like TightVNC) + VNC Viewer app on your Galaxy S9+ via USB tethering. It’s lightweight and works with old systems, though some input lag is expected.

Use USB tethering for lower latency.

Close background apps on XP to save RAM.

Avoid sketchy download links for old spacedesk versions.

Best Regard,

Sally
