Main monitor status gets changed to my tablet when I connect after waking from sleep
I have a Lenevo Tab M8 running the latest spacedesk app installed from the play store. I have a intel desktop with a gigabyte motherboard that is also running the latest spacedesk server. If I connect to my tablet after bootup , it works normally. I generally dont like to keep my tablet connected when my desktop is in sleep. So I disconnect my tab , turn off the server and close spacedesk. But when I goto connect back after waking up my PC , the main monitor status goes from my monitor to my tab. After this my monitor becomes blank and I am unable to use my main monitor. The only way I have found to reopen my main display is to turnt he server off and even then when I connect , the tab gets the only signal. I connect via USB 3.0 port using a charging cable that came with the tab. When I restart my computer this issue goes away.but comes back once I put it to sleep. When you encounter the issue, please try the following:
1. Right-click on your desktop and click on Display Settings
2. On the Screens section, click on Identify to see which of your monitors is your main monitor, then click on it.
3. Under Multiple Displays, check „Make this my main display“
After following these steps, try to reproduce the issue again if it can still be reproduced. If so, please click on Clear Windows Display Settings in the spacedesk Driver Console, follow the steps above again, then check if the issue still occurs. Thank you.
Thank you for responding. I did all the steps you mentioned above. According to settings , there is only one monitor connected. And the connected monitor shows’wired display‘. I tried all the menus I can think of regarding monitor in settings. Only one monitor is showing up. I tried clearing windows display settings in the spacedesk console. I also cleared spacedesk settings. Still the issue is occuring when I connect.
