Non-Commercial Paid User License?

I enjoyed a lot how stable and useful is spacedesk for multitasking, or simply watch videos or read a book while I type a summary, but I founded that there’s some special features only available on a commercial license like se a second keyboard on wireless connections, and also hide the annoying spacedesk banner of “free non-commercial license” banner that pop-ups on the tablet at the initial connection and the “spacedesk non-commercial viewer connected” window that can’t be never closed.  I wanted up to buy a license to address all of that, but the commercial license limited to one connection no matter if the same google account is on both devices, if i want to connect 2 devices I have to pay way more for an expansion of 5 devices.

I would still like to paid for a license as a mortal user with all the commercial license benefits. But without commercial purposes, so it could be possible a paid user license?

Based on my research, here’s a breakdown of spacedesk licensing and whether a „paid user“ license exists:

Current Spacedesk Licensing Structure:

Non-Commercial Private License (Free):

Offers the same core functionality and features as the commercial license, except for the „Network connected keyboard“ feature.
Has an expiry date, which is indicated in the spacedesk Driver Console.
After expiry, a new spacedesk Driver version is typically required to continue using it without a color display limitation (it might revert to black and white).
Includes the „spacedesk non-commercial viewer connected“ window that cannot be closed and the initial connection banner on the tablet.
Commercial Business License (Paid):

Offers the same functionality and features as the non-commercial license, including the „Network connected keyboard“ feature.
Has no expiry date.
Currently available for purchase as an in-app purchase on Android and iOS app stores. It is expected to be available in the Windows Store in Q4 2025.
The licensing is typically per connection. The base commercial license appears to be for one connection. If you need to connect multiple devices simultaneously, you would need to purchase a license for a larger number of connections (e.g., an expansion to 5 devices).
Is there a „paid user“ license for non-commercial use?

Based on the information available, spacedesk does not currently offer a specific „paid user“ license for non-commercial use that sits between the free non-commercial license and the multi-device commercial license.

It seems the commercial license is primarily structured for business use and is priced based on the number of concurrent connections needed, not strictly on whether it’s for commercial or personal use.

Addressing your specific needs:

Second keyboard on wireless connections and hiding banners: These features are currently exclusive to the commercial license.
Limitation to one connection with the commercial license: You are correct. The standard commercial license appears to be for a single connection. To connect two devices simultaneously, you would need to opt for a more expensive license that covers multiple connections.
Possible Workarounds or Considerations:

Free Version Updates: While the free version has an expiry, updating to the latest version when a new one is available might allow you to continue using the core features without the color limitations and potentially with a renewed expiry period. However, this will not remove the banners or enable the second network keyboard feature.
Evaluate the Need for Simultaneous Connections: Consider if you truly need both devices connected at the same time requiring two simultaneous connections. If your usage involves connecting one device at a time, the single commercial license might suffice for the advanced features.

Hello,

I love using spacedesk for multitasking and productivity. I’d like to pay for a license to remove the banners and access extra features, but I’m not using it commercially. foremost online payment portal

Is there any way to purchase a personal-use license with full features at a lower price than the commercial option?

Thanks for your great work!

Best,

Tim
