poor image quality on ios after latest update

Seite 1 von 2Nächste

Hello, I have an iPhone 11, my Wi-Fi speed is 80 Mbps on my computer, which is connected directly to Wi-Fi, but on my iPhone it’s 30-40 Mbps. When connected to my PC via IP in Spacedesk, the transmission resolution on my iPhone 11 is very poor, no matter what image quality I set, and no matter what resolution I set in the app, whether 720p or native, the transmission looks very poor, the pixels are jarring to the eyes. The speed and response are fine, but the pixels are large. I don’t remember this happening before. I noticed it today after updating your app on my iPhone 11. I don’t have this problem on Android.

Hi @fumz343,

Which Encoding Type is selected in your viewer?

I have automatic, but it seems to have chosen mjpeg

Hi @fumz343,

Can you try with both „Software Encoding MJPEG (force)“ and „Hardware Encoding H264 (force)“ to see if there’s a difference between the two? Also, can you provide a video of the issue? We cannot reproduce it on our end so a video would help. Thank you.

https://imgur.com/lppfDvV here is a screenshot from an iPhone 11, the quality slider setting in viewer is in the middle, the resolution in viewer settings is native, 1785×892 (approximately, I don’t remember exactly), even if you change the resolution to 1280×720, there is approximately the same picture, nothing changes, there was no such problem before, I don’t have such a problem on android now
I remember today I connected once and I had a normal image, then I reconnected and now it’s bad again, I tried many times but it’s still bad

Hi @fumz343,

Have you tried changing your Encoding Type?

Yes, this does not solve the problem

Hi @fumz343,

For further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your Primary PC by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.

Thank you.

sorry, I can't now, but I noticed that the quality problem disappears if you first connect to the PC via iOS, then turn off the broadcast from the PC from the iPhone by pressing off in the spacedisk driver, and then reconnect, in this case the problem disappears, but then when you reconnect, the quality is bad again and so on in a circle
