Possible to prevent Windows host connection loss when switching apps on Android client?

I would like to be able to use my Android tablet as a second monitor for me PC while also utilizing it’s native Android apps but this is made impossible due to the Windows server automatically disconnecting from my connected device as soon as I switch away from the Spacedesk Android app. Is there a setting I can adjust to prevent this from happening? Hi @keith,

You can set the „Connection close delay“ in the spacedesk Driver to -1 to prevent the disconnection of your viewer.

SuperDisplay: This app allows you to use your Android tablet as a second monitor and might offer better multitasking support.

Google Remote Desktop: This tool lets you control your PC from your Android device. While it doesn’t extend your display, it might help you achieve similar multitasking capabilities.

Splashtop Wired XDisplay: Another app that can turn your Android tablet into a second monitor. It might provide better multitasking support compared to Spacedesk.

Samsung DeX: If you have a Samsung device, you can use Samsung DeX to turn your tablet into a second monitor while still using its native apps. MarlboroRewards

In android setting – aplication – space desk > batery – unlimited

device care -> memory -> excluded apps) but it still kills it (just by pressing „optimize“ button it ignores the ignore list and kills the app) add space desk

Float View use gest for float and minimalize window , for use phone and stay connected .
