s pen not detected
Hi! I wanted to use spacedesk on my samsung tablet S9 to draw on Krita, but when I use my pen it doesn’t detect pen pressure and the pen button does not work. Is there any way to fix this?
I’ve seen people talk about pen pressure settings but I cant find it?? I also dont think the pen pressure is a Krita problem because Krita cant detect any pressure too. I’ve used Krita before with a pen tablet and it can detect pressure.

To use spacedesk with Krita with an S Pen, you have to change the tablet input API to “Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows Ink)”. To do this, please refer to the steps below:
- Open Krita, then on the menu bar, click on “Settings” > “Configure Krita”
- Select “Tablet settings” from the sidebar, then in the “Tablet input API” section, click on “Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows Ink)”
- Close, then reopen Krita.
Following these steps should enable pen pressure support in Krita when using the spacedesk Viewer with an S Pen. As for the button on the S Pen, spacedesk currently does not support input coming from it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thank you!
