Tipps / Things for the manual

Hi all, I spend some time with the win 11 driver/app and now I‘m quite happy. Even the USB connection is working, but first I had to establish a Network connection (after trying all my USB/TB cables). My Windows PC has a wired connection to my access point and this was enough to find my PC from the iPad. Just get sure that Videowall is off and USB cable iOS is on.

In the windows display settings I clicked on the second screen symbol and set the display to 2420×1668 and the scale to 150%.

Another great thing is, that you can use it until Dec 31 2025 for private use. Enough time for testing.

My wishlist for this driver/app is not very long, but I really would appreciate 60Hz or more instead of 30Hz and a longer timeout (~55s) for checking things on the iPad before the connection is closed.

Btw. I‘m quite sure I will buy a license after my tests to support the project.

Hello,

It’s great that you were able to get the USB connection working eventually after establishing a network connection. Thanks for sharing your specific steps regarding the Windows display settings and the reminder about the Videowall and USB cable iOS settings.

Your feedback regarding the 30Hz refresh rate and the connection timeout is valuable for the developers. It’s understandable that a higher refresh rate would provide a smoother visual experience, and a longer timeout would offer more flexibility when using the iPad as a secondary screen.  e-zpassct.com

It’s also good to know that you’re considering purchasing a license to support the project after your testing period. This kind of support is crucial for the continued development and improvement of such tools.

Hopefully, the developers will take your suggestions into consideration for future updates. Enjoy your continued testing until December 31, 2025!

Great to hear you’ve got the Windows 11 driver/app working well, especially the USB connection after establishing a network link (wired PC to access point). Disabling Videowall and enabling USB cable iOS were key, along with setting the iPad’s display to 2420×1668 at 150%. The free private use until December 2025 is a bonus. Your wishlist for 60Hz+ and a longer timeout is valuable feedback for the developers, and your intention to buy a license to support the project is commendable. Enjoy testing!

It sounds like you’ve had a positive experience working with the Windows 11 driver/app for your iPad setup, and you’ve got everything connected and running smoothly now. It’s great to hear that you’ve resolved the USB connection issue with the network setup and made adjustments to your display settings.    Official Site

Glad to hear it’s all dialed in now. Smooth USB, clean display, solid setup  that’s how it’s done.

Your wishlist items—60Hz refresh rate and a longer timeout before the connection is closed—are very reasonable. A higher refresh rate would definitely improve the experience, especially for tasks involving fast-moving visuals or more fluid interactions. Extending the timeout would give users a bit more flexibility while setting things up without worrying about the connection dropping too quickly. EZDriveMA Mass gov
