USB support on iPad 4th gen / iOS app v 1.0.44 ?

Does the iOS app version 1.0.44 support connection over USB?
I have the Spacedesk iOS app v 1.0.44 on my old iPad 4th gen (I believe this is the last version supported for this iPad?). I cannot get a connection over USB to a Windows 11 server, even after installing/running iTunes and making sure the Apple Mobile Device Service is running on the Windows 11 machine.
I can connect this iPad to a Windows Server over Wifi, but after working for a few minutes it disconnects.

spacedesk iOS Viewer v1.0.44 does not support USB cable connection.
You may try to setup USB tethering (https://manual.spacedesk.net/USBTetheringiOSandAndroid.html) or try Performance Tuning (https://manual.spacedesk.net/PERFORMANCETUNING.html) and check if spacedesk is disconnecting.
