Will there be a direct way to buy server license for old machines?

All of my PCs are running Windows LTSB 1607 and can’t use Microsoft Store to buy the Viewer license to activate the server, buying an Android tablet is not a viable option too.

I would like to have an option to buy the server license directly from the author for the server part of Spacedesk. As my systems are old, updating software to a new version would bring the possibility of unable to use it anymore because the update version is using some APIs not provided by my version of OS. So I want to keep using the same version of SpaceDesk server as long as possible, because it’s working well for me now.

Hi @gennyo,

Currently, licensing is tied to the viewers, specifically to the Android and iOS viewers, and not to the server. And there are no plans as of the posting of this reply to support licenses for viewers.

Hello,

I am currently using spacedesk Server on multiple PCs running Windows 10 LTSB 1607, and the system is functioning very well for my needs. However, due to the limitations of this version of Windows, I am unable to access the Microsoft Store to purchase a viewer license or activate the server via standard methods.

Additionally, purchasing an Android tablet or upgrading to a newer version of Windows is not a viable option for me at this time. I rely on the current spacedesk version, which works perfectly with my setup. I’m concerned that future updates may introduce dependencies on newer Windows APIs that are unavailable in LTSB 1607, potentially breaking functionality.

Given this, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a direct purchase option for a spacedesk server license, independent of the Microsoft Store. This would allow me to continue using the existing, stable version of spacedesk without risk of incompatibility from forced upgrades. E-ZPass in Rhode Island

Thank you for your excellent software and for considering support for legacy system users like myself.

Kind regards,

Kim

That’s a valid concern, especially when working with legacy systems that can’t handle newer software dependencies. A direct license option would definitely benefit users like you. If you’re managing older systems or monitoring usage data, this inmate records check <link removed> might be a useful resource alongside your setup. Hopefully, the developers consider a licensing method that works outside the Store to support long-term stability.

If you’re trying to find accurate and updated arrest details, I recommend using reliable tools that compile public data efficiently. One of the best options I’ve come across for Arrest Information Lookup <SPAM – LINK REMOVED> is this website. It provides quick access to records without unnecessary steps. The interface is simple, and the search accuracy is impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you’re dealing with frequent record searches.

If you’re planning to repurpose old machines, it’s essential to ensure compatibility with any server license you purchase. You might also want to review local regulations and documentation sources before finalizing anything—detailed records like CO police reports <SPAM – LINK REMOVED> can sometimes provide insights into technical usage or past hardware issues. Always double-check the specs and support cycles from the software provider.

That’s a great question—many users with legacy systems face similar licensing challenges. While direct options can be limited, it helps to explore official vendors or forums focused on older server hardware. If your concern is related to legal or criminal record access on such systems, you can still efficiently perform a MO public cases <SPAM – LINK REMOVED> check through compatible browsers. Make sure the system meets basic security standards to avoid vulnerabilities.
