2FA does not activate.

I added 2FA from my profile settings QR code into my auth app.

When I write the code in the Auth app into the box and click activate, it gives me an error, tried 5 times.

Also, these forums are quite slow to refresh. I’m located in Austria.

Also, once I post something, the upper side of the forum gets cut and I cannot scroll up.

It says the code is incorrect although I know is correct. I’m using the Authenticator app in Android.

Can you try using either Google Authenticator or Microsoft authenticator? Thank you.

Exactly. Here is what I did:

Scanned the QR Code.
Added “spacedesk.net: Sacco-Belmonte” to my authenticator.
Tried the code in the SD forum profile 2FA activate box. The one that says “Enter the code from your authenticator app below to verify and activate two-factor authentication for this account.”
After entering the code and hitting enter the box says the code is not valid. (tried 6 times)

Hi @sacco,

I just tried setting up 2FA for your account with the Google Authenticator app and it worked when I tried it. Not exactly sure what’s causing the error on your end. Just to be clear, the code you’re entering is from the Auth app and is the code currently displayed in the app when you hit enter, right?

Yes. I made sure I had plenty of time by waiting for a new code.
