Android USB connection not working
Quote from Patryk on 08/02/2026, 12:45As said in the title, I cannot connect my device to my computer as a monitor via the USB cable driver android option. It is checked on and i tried both with mpt file transfer and ptp file transfer. I am using a windows 11 PC and a rooted samsung galaxy tab 3 gt-5210 tablet. I will also upload a zip file with the logs.

It seems like the logs you sent are incomplete. Please follow the steps below to get the complete diagnostic logs. Please open the spacedesk Driver Console as administrator and click on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:
1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.Thank you.

I just want to add, when collecting the diagnostics i plugged in my tablet via usb, then set it’s usb mode to mtp and tried to connect the spacedesk app to no avail, then i tried using ptp instead but i still couldnt connect, when i press the usb button/icon in the spacedesk app it only shows a notification about turning on the USB cable driver android setting on the main machine, which i had done.
