[SOLVED] Android USB connection not working anymore in 2.1.34

I have updated to the new Driver Console 2.1.34 and also updated the VIEWER app on my Allview Android tablet. Everything was working before with a few switching offs and ons, unchecking and checking USB Cable Android, replugging USB cable.

 

Now it does not work anymore, no matter what I do. Any tips?

For further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your server machine by opening the spacedesk Driver console and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app via USB.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or GDrive then include the download link on your next reply.

Also, what specific model is your tablet? Thank you.

My tablet is a H1003_LTE_PRO. I attached the logs. Today I saw an interesting message on VIEWER that was stating that this VIEWER can connect only to the Windows version of DRIVER Console, which I have already installed on my computer. It is the new version, 2.1.34. Never seen this message before on VIEWER.

Is the USB accessory option set to File Transfer or Media Transfer?
When spacedesk USB Cable Android is OFF in the Driver Console, can your Windows machine access the files of your tablet?
Which versions of spacedesk Driver and Android viewer worked before?

I have the following options for the USB: File Transfer, Tethering through USB, MIDI, PTP, Only charge

I have set it to File Transfer and also tried every other option. I think the first time I got spacedesk working was on File Transfer, but I see that it automatically disables it when the option is activated. As I can see, the tablet is not recognized when I switch to File Transfer on explorer.

The last versions of both worked well. Driver version 2.1.33 and Viewer I really do not know because I never looked there. I first installed the viewer in December, so whatever version was then available on Google Play Store.

in the diagnostics you sent, did you try to unplug-plug the Android device (Diagnostics Step 3 above)?

As I can see, the tablet is not recognized when I switch to File Transfer on explorer.

Set USB Cable Android to OFF in the spacedesk Driver Console and open Device Manager (Win+R devmgmt.msc or Windows search).
Please check if your Android device has a yellow mark. If it has, reboot your Android device.
If the issue still persists in Device Manager, double click on the device and send us screenshots of the following:
– General tab
– Events tab
– Details tab -> Property: Hardware Ids

Yes, I tried unplugging and plugging back. No results.

However, I tried looking in the device manager and saw the icon with yellow mark. I restarted the tablet and it did not appear anymore in device manager. I have a program that manages drivers for me and it pinpointed to a corrupted driver, usb2ser.sys. I request the uninstall of it and switched tablet pairing to PTP mode. The tablet appeared in Windows explorer, I could browse files.

Then I started DRIVER Console and activated USB Cable Android. It worked like a charm. Thank you so much for your help on this and for this amazing software!
