Again please note that it works fine when the Surface Pro X is the server. I only have problems when the viewer is running on the Surface Pro X. Spacedesk turns off the sound on the Intel device but it does not appear on the Surface Pro X.

Please let me know what I can do.

This is not urgent for me.

Can you check this for me: when you connect to a server with the Surface Pro X as your viewer and enable Audio in the viewer, go to your server PC and click on the speaker icon, then click on the icon beside the volume bar, then under “Output device”, check if “Speakers (spacedesk virtual Speaker)” is on the list? Also, can you right-click the Windows Menu on the taskbar, click on Device Manager, then under Audio inputs and outputs, check if “Speakers (spacedesk virtual Speaker)” is there too?

While following your instructions, I found the problem. In my office, these two laptops are connected to the same speakers through a mixer. My intention is to use the virtual speaker setup when travelling.

To avoid confusion, I had muted the sound on the Server, so that the sound would only be sent to the mixer from the client. I didn’t understand that this would defeat your implementation, by muting the virtual speaker instead.

Sorry for wasting your time! It worked fine all the time.
