Disconnect spacedesk when my laptop screen is going off
Hello, I have a laptop and a Spacedesk tablet connected to it. Both systems are Windows 11. When the main laptop turns off the screen but doesn’t go into sleep mode, the Spacedesk tablet disconnects and says “reconnecting.” Previously, it normally showed “connected display off,” but this has happened recently. I have the impression that it happened after I enabled the video wall function, but I’m not sure. I disabled these functions, but it still happens.
Newer spacedesk versions now support Windows feature “Modern Standby”. spacedesk Windows Primary Machine now goes to sleep when entering “Modern Standby” state (it didn’t do so in older versions).
It should be indifferent to the user. Viewer automatically reconnects when the Windows PC wakes up again. Do you have any issues with this “Modern Standby” feature? If you do, then please explain your concerns in detail. We are always glad to discuss any impact of new features.
Thanks for the update. So far, I haven’t faced any major issues with the Modern Standby feature. The automatic reconnect after waking up works well and is convenient. My only small concern is that sometimes the reconnect takes a few extra seconds, but overall the feature feels smooth and doesn’t really affect normal usage.
