Hardware Encoding H264 not working on native display

I use Hardware Encoding since it gives the best performance when I game with my tablet as my second monitor. The issue is that whenever I set the resolution to 2000×1200(native) it keeps telling me that the decoder ran into an error and tells me to switch to software encoding (I wont, it lags) but when I use 1920×1080 it runs fine, and when I set it into 1920×1200 its a black screen albeit functional.

I want to use hardware encoding in native res, is there any fix for this?

Hi @reign,

How are you connecting, via Wifi or via USB? Do you see your Primary PC’s background when you connect or does it just show a black screen?
Also, could you send us a screenshot of the About page in the Settings on your Android tablet so we could further investigate the issue? Thank you.

I am using a usb and when Im on native display, it shows the hardware encoder error and a blackscreen

Hi @reign,

Sorry, I think we had a bit of a misunderstanding. I was asking for a screenshot of the About tablet page in your tablet’s Settings, not the About page of the spacedesk app. Thank you!

Hi, sorry but where am I suppose to find the that, all I see is the Quality/Performance, Resolution, etc

In the Settings of your tablet, not in the Settings of the spacedesk app. For your reference, please see image attached to this post. Thank you.
