iPad saying connected: display off when connected.
Quote from Christian on 01/03/2026, 08:00I was trying to connect my iPad to my desktop as its own display and it is saying connected but display is off. I used this just the other day and this is the first time I’ve come across this error.

Thank you for sending your logs. Unfortunately, some files are missing from the logs. Please follow the steps provided below, making sure that you open the spacedesk Driver Console as administrator so all files needed to diagnostic collection will be collected.
1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.

Quote from spacedesk Renz on 02/03/2026, 03:01Also @christian-5, can you try changing the “Encoding Type” option in the spacedesk iOS viewer to “Software Encoding MJPEG (force)”? You can find this in the Settings > Quality/Performance.
