Low FPS in Wireless screen
Quote from JDTM96 on 13/01/2026, 05:05I have a Business License. Everything works fine but I noticed when nothing moves on the wireless screen (Lenovo Tab P11) the FPS are very low, between 1 to 10 FPS. But if I move the cursor on this wireless screen or play a video on it, the FPS are around 40 to 60. How can I get this balanced? Because when the FPS are low, it takes more seconds to get up to 60 FPS.
Thanks in advance.

spacedesk is only transmitting data if screen content has changed. While the screen doesn’t change, no data is transmitted (as opposed to other streaming protocols like e.g. Miracast). This has the following advantages:
1. Less impact on Local Area Network load.
2. High image quality when screen doesn’t change.
spacedesk sends a High Quality Frame after last screen content update.
3. Image quality doesn’t temporarily deteriorate while there is no movement on screen
(as e.g. disturbances can happen in Miracast even while nothing is moving on the screen.
…plus a few more advantages…If you have any reasons why this behavior could be suboptimal or ideas what could be improved, we are very glad to discuss.
