MacBook as a server

Could you please tell me how to run a server on a Mac OS? I was able to connect a Windows laptop (as a server) to my MacBook (as a viewer). But I’d like to do the opposite: have the MacBook act as a server, creating a second virtual display and broadcasting the image to it.

Hello, I would like to try the beta server on my Mac, because I just bought a Mac Mini, and until now I've used it on my Windows machine.
