Pen Pressure randomly disabling in Clip Studio Paint

Good day! I am using SpaceDesk and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. One slight problem that infuriates me is that with my main drawing app, Clip Studio Paint, there’s one issue that it suddenly seems to have a different pen pressure/none at all. For this, if I do hatching, the problem is very evident where a couple of lines appear bigger than usual (as a showcase of the pen pressure disappearing.) Please check Attachment 1 for reference.

Please do note, I have turned on Tablet PC in preferences within Clip Studio Paint. And I have tested with other applications such as Photoshop, and it appears to have no problem such as this. Please check Attachment 2 for reference.

I want to also inform that I’ve researched about this for an extensive amount already and I can’t seem to find any light about this. Results online seem to point on the fact that it’s a driver issue in the tablet that’s malfunctioning, thus Clip Studio Paint being confused. However, I can’t do much with this because SpaceDesk doesn’t really have options that modify the pen pressure or such in the driver.

I wish a solution could be found, and it’d be very appreciated if I’m enlightened about this. Nonetheless, I love the service a lot! Thank you!

Hi @andree,

Which devices are you using spacedesk with?

Hi, sorry for the rather lengthy response time, I hope I can still be somehow entertained.
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, on a Windows 11 acer laptop.

Hi @andree,

Do you have any other software you use a pen with that also has the same issue in spacedesk, and what specific pen are you using with your tablet? Also, for further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your server machine by opening the spacedesk Driver console and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by using the pen in Clip Studio Paint.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or GDrive then include the download link on your next reply.

Thank you.

Hi Renz, thank you for your hardwork and competence for my issue. Again, I apologize for the belated reply. To answer your questions, ther isn’t any other software other than Clip Studio Paint that does this issue. I’m using the original S-Pen Provided by Samsung themselves. For the debug console, I’ve attached it as a link below, although I am not 100% sure I did the steps right. Nonetheless, please inform me if there are any other stuff I can provide to ease up the issue. Thanks too!
