protect server with a password

Hi, since we have more than one Windows server installed on our network, is it possible to protect each server with a password (even with the free license)?

Hi @nicovon,

Password protection is only available for viewers with a business license, which means that only viewers with a business license can connect to Primary PCs with “Password Protection & Encryption” turned on in the Driver Console.

OK, I get it. Is there at least a way to rename the IP addresses to distinguish them?

Hi @nicovon,

You can change your Primary PC’s name so you can identify which Primary PC is which from your viewer.

Do I have to do it from the viewer? So if I rename the server, it won’t appear twice?

Hi @nicovon,

No, you would need to change the Primary PC’s name in the PC itself. The viewer shows the PC name of the server, and that name is provided by the PC.
