Spacedesk doesn't reconnect when waking up from sleep.
Quote from Sacco on 05/07/2025, 12:42Since the last few versions Spacedesk (USB) doesn’t reconnect when waking up from sleep.
I checked everything I thought it might cause this:
BIOS CPU C-States: Tried Enabled and Disabled.
USB selective suspend: Tried enable and disabled (I always have it disabled).
USB Connection in my tablet: Usually if I toggle from MTP to No data transfer and viceversa it came to life. Not anymore, no matter what I try.
Seems like the driver is unable to reconnect.
It works fine when booting from scratch. The problem happens only when coming back from sleep.
Even if I log in after waking up the PC, the driver doesn’t auto-reconnect. I need to manually turn the driver Off / On in order to make it work.
A temporary solution would be to be able to install an old version, but that is not possible.
Best Regards.
Matias.

Quote from Gluten on 06/07/2025, 05:36Same issue here. I had never updated the app before, but after resetting my PC, I had to reinstall it, and the only version available now is the latest one. Since then, it won’t auto connect after waking up from sleep mode.
My only workaround is to restart the PC, end the spacedesk app from Task Manager and relaunch it, or toggle the Android USB cable driver off and on every time the PC wakes up from sleep mode.

Quote from ei on 11/07/2025, 03:32I encountered the same problem as the original poster.
Actually, this problem is because I installed the latest version 2.2.03, and the official website did not provide the installation package of the old version. I cried.

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app via USB cable.

See attached DebugView.

It’s “Connected – Display OFF” bouncing there, not Connection lost. But the connection IS lost.

it seemed that the diagnostics did not include the machine going to sleep. Could you please send a new one – from going to sleep and then waking up?
