Low FPS on focus loss while gaming
Hi,
I have been using Spacedesk for a while now. My setup is a windows desktop running the server and a windows laptop connecting as a viewer.
Server is 2.1.28
Viewer is v0.0.38.0
This setup works and runs smooth 90% of the time. The only issue I run in to is when I start certain 3d games on my computer while I am watching a stream on the viewer.
I especially notice this when I run Dyson Sphere Program. As soon as I boot the game, the viewer starts to lag and stutter really bad. I enabled the statistics on the viewer.
During normal use the viewer is 1920×1080 between 58 and 62 FPS (I set 60FPS as custom framerate on the viewer)
When I start Dyson Sphere Program and the viewer loses focus, the FPS immediately drops to around 25FPS and it stutters like crazy.
Is there a way to make it not lose FPS when it loses focus?

Have you tried installing the latest Driver 2.2.09? We cannot support older versions of the Driver Package so we encourage you to update to the latest. If the issue still happens with the latest Driver Package, please send us the logs of your Primary PC by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:
1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.
