Touchscreen on Tablet doesnt work
Zitat von Uwe am 17/06/2026, 17:57 UhrHi everyone,
I’m using Spacedesk to set up an additional monitor.
My main computer is a Windows 10 PC, and the tablet is running Windows 11.
I want to be able to use the tablet’s touchscreen for input.
Unfortunately, it currently only works using the mouse via the main computer.
In the Spacedesk Viewer settings, I have configured „Remote Control“ with „Mouse Output“ set to „Mouse“ and „Touch Output“ set to „Touch.“
„Enable pen output“ is set to inactive, and „Enable keyboard output“ is set to active.
I can drag the image from the main computer onto the tablet using the mouse, but the application running there can only be controlled via the mouse. What am I doing wrong?
Best regards, Uwe

It seems from the details that you posted that the Viewer you’re using is the Microsoft Store version of spacedesk. If so, to use the touchscreen feature in the Viewer, you must first initiate Remote Control in the Viewer. You can do this by either clicking your Viewer’s mouse on the Viewer screen or tapping the screen with 3 simultaneous taps then click on the Take control button on the popup that would appear. Please refer to the attached image for reference.

Zitat von Uwe am 18/06/2026, 11:45 UhrThanks for Reply,
unfortunatly I can´t activate the remote Control.
Just so I understand this correctly (given my poor English):
I launch the Spacedesk Viewer on the tablet. This displays the screen from my main PC.
Then I’m supposed to either click with the mouse on the tablet screen or press the monitor with three fingers simultaneously.
Where exactly am I supposed to click with the mouse?
Unfortunately, the finger method didn’t work either.
Sorry for not quite grasping it.
Best regards, Uwe

Yes that is the version of spacedesk I was asking about. Please check a video reference for initiating remote control in the link below.

Zitat von Uwe am 19/06/2026, 11:47 UhrHello,
Thanks a lot for the video.
I can’t get the remote control window to open, neither by clicking the mouse nor by tapping with three fingers.
Could it be due to the Windows 11 version? I only have the „Home“ version on the tablet.
Best regards, Uwe

You need to either click or tap on the viewer, which on your case is the tablet, not from the primary PC. It should work on any version of Windows 11.

Zitat von Uwe am 20/06/2026, 07:43 UhrYeah, thats what I am doing.
If you want I can make screenshots from the way I am doing.
BTW:
In your video you are clicking with the mouse and a window is opening.
You click left side on the mouse? Any special position where you click?
