Viewer unable to connect to the driver.

I am testing Space Desk for our business use, and when running the driver on my personal desktop the viewer sees the server right away, but when using my work laptop it is not able to find it and when I manually enter the IP I get IP Validation in progress…

On the work laptop I am connected to VPN, but looking using my local IP. Is there a specific port that needs to be opened for communication?

Hello, I have tried with my VPN disabled and I am still unable to connect. I only have a WiFi adapter on the laptop and it does not have the Sharing tab, even thought the Shared Access service is running. This appears to be a limitation of Windows from what I have read so far.
Any other ideas on what I can try to make the connection?

Ok, I was able to get the sharing tab on WiFi by connecting to a dock with with an Ethernet port and installing its driver. I now have shared the WiFi connection and tested with VPN disabled and I am still unable to find the computer running the driver.

This is an enterprise computer with the CIS Benchmark Group Policy applied. In some reading I needed to enable ICS and have confirmed the SharedAccess service is running.
