Close button is flickering constantly.

Hello, good day. I’m testing spacedesk and it works fine, except for the close button that appears in the program. When I put it in full-screen mode, the close button appears and flickering constantly, and it doesn’t disappear.

I’d like to know if this is normal and if it’s possible to remove that button (image attached).

My operating system where the server program is installed is Windows 11 Pro 23H2. My client computer is a Samsung ATIV Tab 3 with Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LSTB 1607 (which I can’t upgrade due to the end of processor support). Since this version of Windows doesn’t support downloading the client from the Microsoft Store, I’m using the “Viewer for Windows 7.”

I’ve been reading and it seems it might be a licensing issue, but the program isn’t linked to the Microsoft Store, so I can’t see the price or buy it directly. Currently, the server program indicates that it’s licensed until December 31, 2026.

Hi @dantrech,

To clarify, the issue has nothing to do with licensing. It is a known issue with the spacedesk Viewer for Windows 7. The issue has been noted but has low priority due to other priorities by the development team.

Okay, I understand.

If I want to buy one license for the Windows 7+ version of the Viewer (and knowing that I can’t install the version from the Microsoft Store), how do I do that?

Hi @dantrech,

The Commercial License is only available for the iOS, Android, and Windows Store Viewers. You may continue to use the spacedesk Windows 7 viewer for whatever purpose you may need it.
