Double (backup) connection feature
Quote from Disappeared on 21/12/2024, 12:07It would be nice to be able to link to two types of connections in case one of them disappears.
Case:
I have a tablet connected to a PC using an Ethernet cable (usb-hub) – so I use a full-speed spacedesk connection, without USB (because it’s not good to lose USB apps when that mode is enabled), but it would be great if I could connect the tablet to the PC via wifi at the same time when the cable connection is active.
That way, when I lose the cable (perhaps when moving the tablet around my workspace), it will automatically switch to Wi-Fi. This seems like an easy to implement feature with a noticeable effect.
Right now I need to: disconnect from cable – connect to wifi with likely loss of open programme windows states – then disconnect from wifi again – connect back via wire.
And if I could assign the wired method a backup in the form of wi-fi, that would be incredibly convenient. Thanks in advance.
