[SOLVED] How to get the display to fit correctly when using a Windows Tablet device (like a Surface Pro) in portrait orientation.
As is often the case, I started this message as a question….. then figured out my solution while writing the question.
The problem was that I couldn’t get the SpaceDesk Viewer window to display correctly when I had my Surface Pro 9 physically oriented in landscape position. (I do this so I can have a tall document off to the side.) I couldn’t get the Viewer display to be correctly rotated and fill the screen properly.
The solution turned out to be to simply physically rotate the Surface Pro before starting up the SpaceDesk Viewer utility. Yeah, now it works great!
In much older versions, I would have to manually enter just the right screen resolution values for the secondary display. Now, it just works. So, y’all have come a long way. I recommend your software to everyone. I have found it very helpful over the years.
