Inquiries about paid use

I want to use the business version on Windows OS. Please tell me how.

Also, please tell me if I have to reinstall the driver every year after the paid payment,

and what happens to these paid licenses as the main usage environment is the closed network.

Hi @kim-seung-ho,

The business license of Spacedesk applies to the viewer, not the Driver and currently, it is only available for the Android and iOS viewers via in-app purchase. If you buy a business license for a viewer, that viewer device will not be affected by the expiry of the Driver. You only have to sync your license information once through the internet and the business license in your viewers will be detected by the Driver. You may refer to the Licensing page for more details.

I would like to ask three questions.

First, we will only use the feature to mirror the server’s screen to the client.

As you mentioned, I understand that purchasing a business license and applying it to the viewer is necessary. However, when the server driver is installed, an expiration date is displayed at the bottom. After this expiration date has passed, can we still share the screen using the business viewer license? Or does the expiration date on the driver disappear once connected via the viewer?

It seems that the viewer has not been officially released yet. How much is the expected price?

We do not use the internet(External network). We plan to use 3 server PCs and 6 client PCs, with each server PC sharing its screen with 2 client PCs. In this case, do we need to purchase licenses for the number of client PCs where the viewer is installed (6 licenses)?

Hi @kim-seung-ho,

For the first question, if you have a viewer with a business license, the expiration date on the Driver will not apply to that particular viewer, but since there’s no business license available for Windows yet, you will have to update the Driver to the latest version since it will have an updated expiry date.

For the second question, we still do not have an expected price for the Spacedesk Windows Viewer business license.

For the third question, using Spacedesk does not require the internet, only a local area network connection so this setup can work. As for the licenses, since there are no license terms for the Windows Viewer (since it has not been released yet), I cannot answer definitively. But for now, you can use the Spacedesk Windows Viewer as per Part C, Section 12.4 of the License Terms.
