iPad stops recognizing cables, even official ones
I was using my iPad connected via USB C to my Windows 11 desktop for a better FPS performance. However, several times happened that, after finishing working on PC + iPad Spacedesk, my iPad didn’t start charging, even when using the original cable and AC adapter. Forcing restart/shuting down my iPad seemed to fix the problem, but the solution wasn’t very consistent.

This is the first time anyone reported an issue like this. If you want to continue connecting your iPad to your PC via USB without connecting it to spacedesk, you can turn off “USB Cable iOS” in the spacedesk Driver Console. But if the issue is charging with an AC adaptor, this could not be an issue related to spacedesk. Can you try it with other iOS devices if you have them to see if the issue also happens there?
Also, please update to the latest iTunes and also to the latest iOS version.
