Primary machine not detected on Ipad Pro – no issues on previous Wifi

Recently moved into student accomodation so I’ve tried to setup Spacedesk on my Windows PC and Ipad pro. The network is private and both devices are discoverable on the network, but the primary machine is still not detected. I have tried connecting by manually inputting the IP address into the app however the app gets stuck on the “IP validation in progress” screen without connecting, even after 5-10 minutes.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled on both devices in case it was a driver issue, but this has not helped.
