Secondary display adapter

I’ve configured my Windows setup to display exclusively on a second monitor using Spacedesk, connected via USB. While the connection is stable and works well for basic tasks, I’ve encountered significant limitations. some Programs and games are forced to use the Spacedesk virtual adapter, which doesn’t include the necessary libraries for many applications. Additionally, since Spacedesk relies on CPU-based rendering, performance drops drastically even if the programs do run. This makes it impractical for resource-intensive tasks or gaming.

there’s a few tricks… like running these in windowed mode or setting the main maintor same as secondary one (Virtually for me) and duplicating the output…

I’d love to enjoy some classic games on my phone’s display or create models on my secondary device, which has a higher resolution. but this issue is  stopping me

Disappeared

Sadly, they removed HW acceleration from roadmap, it was planned on 2024.
I have bought new devices with all the codecs just to make my experience smoother, coz for now delay is really bad at the best connection (wired ethernet), but no progress at this field…

You know, i think just hiding the virtual adapter from games and programs will workout

I don’t know how, but it’s got to be similar to hidhide’s function

These errors will disappear if their engine don’t see the spacedesk adapter
