someting wrong with the stylus screen control

Page 1 of 2Next

Dear Spacedesk Support Team,

Sorry to bother you.I use Spacedesk for my personal painting project in a pixel paint software named aseprite, and meet some annoying problems. After i turn the stylus screen control on,everytime i choose color or tool in their menu and try to draw something by pen,the input event is still recognized as a drag and drop event in the previous menu. But when i turn the stylus screen control off,the problem is gone.I tested on both my phone and pad with two kinds of pen, pretty sure that’s a bug.Beside,i try other screen splitting software such as superdisplay, they dont have the problem.

Hello @wqy2532189278,

Where can we find the stylus screen control setting in Aseprite?

spacedesk’s setting,not aseprite’s

We cannot reproduce it on our end. Can you send a video that shows the issue? You can upload it via Dropbox and post the link on your next reply. Also, which devices and styluses did you use?

My device is Huawei’s MatePad Pro 10.8 2019 and P30pro,pen is M-Pencil,the first link is the normal situation, second is the problem https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ftr6abhmnl4xcwha8ooz1/normal-situation.mp4?rlkey=fmc84yehjt8sh4us5l5o5km9t&st=8pvenq4y&dl=0

This problem only occurs when the stylus screen control of Spacedesk is turned on

Can you try turning off touch input when you turn on stylus input then see try to reproduce the issue again? If it still happens, please send us the logs of your server machine by opening the spacedesk Driver console and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue.
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or GDrive then include the download link on your next reply.

Thank you.

I have completed what you said, first link is the logs, second is the video

Hi @wqy2532189278,

Sorry for the delay in our reply. This has been forwarded to our developers for further investigation. For additional info, I’d like to ask if the issue also occurs in other apps like in Windows Ink Workspace or Adobe Photoshop?
