Touch input registers on primary PC monitor instead of Android secondary display

having an issue where touch input from my Android phone (spacedesk viewer) is being sent to my primary PC monitor instead of the phone’s own extended display.

Setup:

  • Server: Windows PC (spacedesk Driver)
  • Viewer: Android phone, spacedesk app v2.1.37
  • Display mode: Extend (not Duplicate)
  • ”Enable touch screen control” is ON, set to Touchscreen mode (not Touchpad)

Symptom:
When I touch the phone’s screen, the touch input lands on my primary PC monitor instead of the phone’s extended display area.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Windows Tablet PC Settings → Calibrate: shows “no pen / touch input” detected, so Windows isn’t seeing a separate digitizer for the phone at all
  • Device Manager → Devices by Connection → spacedesk Virtual Bus: no second HID-compliant touch screen device appears when touching the phone screen
  • Three-finger tap on the phone screen to trigger a “take control” popup: no popup appears
  • Clearing Windows Display Settings via the spacedesk console and re-arranging displays: no change
  • Toggling the spacedesk Driver off/on: no change

Hi @huh,

For further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your Primary PC
by opening the spacedesk Driver console as administrator and
clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

1. Download the DebugView.
2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
3. Reproduce the issue e.g. connect spacedesk and send touch input events
4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post. If the folder exceeds 512kb, you may upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive then include the download link on your next reply.

Thank you.
